• Collaboration by the creation of the video-documentary film "The escape of the children" (About the escape of Jewish children in 1939 to England)

• Construction of an 18 meters long memorial wall at the Jewish cemetery in Volkmarsen to remind to the murdered Jews from Volkmarsen

An exceptionally main focus in our society's work: Organisation, development and financing of meeting weeks with ancient Jewish citizens from the region, who live in the USA, Israel and Australia today (in the years 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006)

• Active cooperation with the advancement of the memorial avenue in Sobibor/Poland
• Continuation research work and creation of a documentation about the history of the Jewish community in Volkmarsen

The present work of our society was honoured several times on local and nationwide area:

In spring 1998 our society was honoured with the "Paul-Dierichs-Preis" in appreciation of  its remuneration around the German Jewish communication by the creatorship of the Paul- Dierichs beneficience in Kassel.

In summer 2002 we got the culture award of the administrative district Waldeck-Frankenberg for our remunerations around the refurbishment of the homeland history with view on the former Jewish citizens.

In spring 2004 we were assigned with the award for "engagement and moral courage" by the federal government and the alliance for democracy and tolerance for our inventive and effective example of civil engagement.
